Trauma integration space in response to the attacks in Amsterdam

ZOOM: Thursday, November 14 20:00-21:30 CET

Such intense violence as happened last week in Amsterdam is deeply unsettling for many; it can readily shake our foundational sense of safety and security, all the more so on the night of Kristallnacht activating older layers of trauma connected to persecution and antisemitic violence. Furthermore it comes at a time when old and fresh collective traumas are already trying our resources and challenging our nervous systems.

We know from history and research that the shock and impacts of such violence are best tended and digested in safe relational and communal spaces, so we invite those who are reeling from these attacks to a communal zoom space for connecting, resourcing, and trauma integration. We’ll walk through some guided practices to support nervous system regulation and facilitators will hold space to help connect around and process the reverberations of last week’s attacks.

This space is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

The space will be held in English on Zoom and is free of charge
